Phase 2: PIP Draft Stage
Once an idea has received positive feedback, authors develop a comprehensive draft following the standard PIP template. This draft undergoes community review and council revision.
The pip-draft forum is where you post your PIP Draft after passing the temperature check (25 👍). A PIP Draft is a fully structured proposal ready for formal review.
Before You Post,
Your draft should:
Follow the official PIP structure.
Be final and vote-ready—This draft should be exactly as you want it to appear on the governance platform.
Clearly explain your proposal—Many voters may not have followed prior discussions. Ensure your draft is self-contained and compelling.
Reserve an Additional Post—Immediately after posting your draft, reserve an additional post by replying to your initial draft. This extra space ensures you can add supplementary edits or clarifications if your draft exceeds Discord’s maximum post length.
